Tix for Trinity-Williams Fenway game now available

The Trinity-Williams game will take place on Jan. 7, 2014 (Tuesday), in Fenway Park and will begin at 7:30. Go here to buy tickets, with prices ranging from $10 to $30. The $10 tickets are closest to the ice surface but also the most exposed to the elements. The seats being sold are arrayed along the first base side, behind home plate, and along the third base side, with the side of the rink that is closest to spectators running from first base to third base and the side furthest from the spectators sitting in the second base-shortstop area and reaching into the outfield. For those of you who have been to Fenway for baseball games, a seat on the first base side puts you pretty close to the action as does one on the third base side of the diamond. One reason why Fenway is so great for baseball is that you really do feel close to the action if you sit in either area. Unfortunately, we do not know which team will be defending which end for which periods so it is impossible to know whether the third base side or the first base side will be optimal for viewing of your team’s offense.

A ticket will admit you to both games of the Jan. 7 D3 doubleheader, with the first game beginning at 4:00 pm and featuring a face-off between two local ECAC East teams, Umass-Boston and Salem State.
