Williams initiates free Internet coverage

Williams College announced on January 13 that it has renegotiated its contract with the company (Teamline) that does video webcasts for some 15 Williams teams, including the men’s hockey team, and that these webcasts will now be free. Great news for NESCAC fans as, based on the quality of its coverage of last year’s NESCAC play-offs, the quality of these webcasts should be good. Here’s a link to the Williams’ announcement. We now have 60% the NESCAC teams–Amherst, Bowdoin, Colby, Hamilton, Trinity, and Williams–providing free video webcasts of virtually all their home hockey games. Kudos to all these schools . . .
